I’m delighted to announce that I’ll be taking part in the Made In France 2024 trade show, which will be held at the Parc des Expositions, Porte de Versailles in Paris, from 8 to 11 November 2024. You’ll be able to find me on the Occitanie stand, where I’ll be showcasing my latest creations in handmade leather goods.
As an Art leatherworker and bookbinder, I make it a point of honour to design unique, long-lasting pieces. Each creation is conceived and produced in my workshop in Plaisance-du-Touch, in Occitanie, where I combine traditional savoir-faire with sustainable innovation.
I give preference to leathers from French or European tanneries, particularly from dormant stocks, and I include recycled fish skins tanned in France. This approach allows me not only to guarantee superior quality, but also to give new life to existing materials, as part of a circular economy approach.
I’m convinced that the future of craftsmanship lies in a harmonious marriage between ancestral techniques and responsible materials. Every detail counts, every gesture is carefully considered, and each piece carries within it this passion for sustainable craftsmanship.
I’d be honoured to welcome you to the Made In France show to talk about this vision of craftsmanship. Come and discover how I perpetuate traditional techniques while incorporating environmentally-friendly innovations.
